The Signature Series 36 Fairs in 2024!

The Signature Series is a late closing event with no nominating fee for  horses 4 years old and up, Ohio sired preferred.  Declarations for all Signature Series races shall be taken 3 days prior to the event.  Please reference the speed program of each individual fair for detailed information.

A minimum cash bonus of $2,000 for 1st, $1,000 for 2nd and $500 for 3rd will be awarded for each gait to the horses with the most points accumulated during the series.  Cash bonuses may be increased on a year by year basis at the discretion of the committee.  If a horse changes ownership during the series, the owner at the time the series is over is eligible for this cash bonus.

Accumulated points remain with the horse.  When horses are tied in summary for total points, all horses are considered a winner and the bonus monies are added together and divided equally.

The point system is as follows:  Win-51, Second-26, Third-13, Fourth-9, Fifth-6 and all remaining starters-1.  In the event of a dead-heat, as with purse money division, horses shall receive the standard distribution of points for their particular order of finish.  Any pending appeal of a placing ruling issued by the judges shall not alter the point standing.

Tie breakers for Delaware:  #1 - Money Earned in Signature Series Events (the current series), #2 - Coin Flip.  Points for cash are awarded at all fairs participating in the Signature Series including Delaware.  Points earned in any participating fair racing after Delaware Co. will be counted towards the 2023 Signature Series.

The Signature Series  Executive Committee will make final determination of any disputes and/or interpretations of the rules in a timely manner.
